- Eine Kamera ist aus meiner Sicht nicht mehr und nicht weniger als das Werkzeug in den Händen des Fotografen. Ein bestimmtes Objektiv oder ein Kamera Body sagen etwas über den Anspruch des Fotografen an sein Werkzeug aus, nicht aber über das Endprodukt, das Bild.
- Ich denke dass ein guter Fotograf mit jeder Kamera ein gut gestaltetes Bild entwerfen kann und ein schlechter Fotograf mit einer noch so teuren Ausrüstung dies nicht schafft. Kommt zu dem Blick für einen Bildaufbau noch ein gut beherrschtes Equipment hinzu, dann macht dies auch in der Güte des Bildes den Unterschied aus.
- Einen Menschen der nicht fotogen ist, den gibt es aus meiner Erfahrung nicht. Es ist stets ein Zusammenspiel von Vertrauen, Können und Erfahrung. Ich fotografiere sehr oft Menschen mit einem oder mehren Handicaps und bin dabei verblüfft darüber welche Schönheit sich hinter diesen Menschen verbirgt. Diese Schönheit heißt es sichtbar werden zu lassen.
- Es ist mein Los als Fotograf und Künstler, dass ich 99 % meiner fotographischen Werke nie werde öffentlich zeigen dürfen, da sie der medizinischen Geheimhaltung unterliegen. Nur Ärzte und Ratsuchende bekommen diese Bilder zu sehen. Das hält mich jedoch nicht davon ab, sondern spornt mich eher an, aus jedem zu portraitierenden Patienten, das schönste seiner selbst bildlich hervorzubringen.
- Darin sehe ich meinen fotografischen Auftrag an unsere Gesellschaft.

- In my point of view a camera is no more and no less than a tool in the photographer's hands. A certain lens or a camera body reveal something about the photographer's expectations of his tool, but not about the end product, the picture.
- I believe that a good photographer can design a well arranged picture with any camera and a bad photographer will not be able to accomplish this, not even with the most expensive equipment or if a person with a good view for picture arrangement / construction has also equipment he controlls well, this then will make the difference in the quality of the picture as well.
- From my experience there is no person who is not photogenic. It is always a combination of confidence, ability and experience. Very often I take photographs of people with one or more handicaps and I am surprized about the beauty behind these people. The challenge is to make this beauty visible.
- It is my lot as a photographer and an artist that I can’t put on public display 99% of my photographic works, for they are subject to medical confidentiality. Only medical doctors and the inquirers themselves get to see these pictures. However, this does not restrict me. It challenges me even more, to produce the best image of each patient I have to portrait.
- In this I see my photographic contribution to our society.

- Hapa inakutana imani, ufundi na mazowezi. Mara nyingi napiga picha za watu, ambao wana upunguvu moja au hata zaidi.
- Hapo naona wajibu wangu kwa watu wote.
